the inn was on the main road, so it was awful loud with traffic, absolutely ruinining any chance for peace. also, there are NO shade trees, so the deck was almost unberable in the heat. i was really looking forward to a complimentary treat after all this, but that obviously was too much to ask. so disappointed, i almost gave a good review!

The room was cozy with antique decor and comfy bedding. A good mini fridge for snacks. I loved the outdoor picnic area, perfect for lake views during lunchtime.

I stayed for four nights while exploring the sights around Sweet Home. The view from the front porch was truly spectacular, especially during sunrise and sunset. The owners shared intriguing stories about the vintage decor, which added a unique charm to my experience. Though the room was a bit noisy due to traffic from the main road, it was comfortable with spacious accommodations, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day.

Family with children will love it
We stayed in a cozy suite with a jacuzzi bath, which was an absolute treat after a long day. Steve and Tracy, the owners, were really attentive. They went out of their way to fix a TV problem for us, even replacing it with another one without hesitation.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but the experience was worth it.

Super chill vibes!
Had a fab time here. The staff were super nice and made check-in a breeze. Loved having access to a bunch of movies. The bathroom was big enough for all my stuff, which was great. Picnic area by the lake was perfect for lunchtime. Only bummer was the constant road noise—definitely took away from the relaxing vibe.

It was just a smart choice for exploring town in Sweet Home with best value. The room had plenty of space to relax after long days of sightseeing. Bring your sunglasses if you want to enjoy the outdoor seating!

missingWrote a review on Aug 24traffic noise
Being situated on the main road meant constant traffic noise-definitely not what you'd expect for a peaceful stay by a lake. There were no shade trees around the outdoor deck chairs. The view was mainly of passing cars and speed boats, rather than the tranquil waterfront I hoped for.

The Queen Room was comfy, but the traffic noise was definitely a bummer.

The large bathroom provided plenty of space for all my belongings, enhancing comfort during my stay. The air conditioner worked effectively, keeping the room cool despite the heat outside, which was a blessing. I particularly enjoyed borrowing movies from the extensive collection available, making my downtime enjoyable. However, the constant road noise detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere, and access to the outdoor areas was limited due to the heat without shade around the seating. The lack of serene views from the room was disappointing as well.

The warm-hearted staff truly made my stay unforgettable. The communal movie lending library was a delightful surprise, and the nearby picnic area made for enjoyable afternoons by the water.
Though the traffic noise was a little disruptive, it didn't overshadow the overall experience.
